The Scientific Author software may be licensed
for individual use, or for a site, and volume licenses are also
available. After licensing a certificate with a
registration code to enter into the program will be issued.
For licenses a payment must be made through Share-it, and within
3
working days after the payment the registration
code will be e-mailed to the client.
To make payment in an alternative method
or questions about licensing contact
sales@scientificauthor.com with details of your license
requirement and your preferred method of payment. Some
alternative methods we use are: Western Union transfer,
MoneyGram transfer, or bank wire transfer.
Licenses are once off payments, they do
not expire, and are non-transferrable.
Please rember that Scientific Author
is available as a fully functional program so that you may TRY
BEFORE YOU BUY. It is our recommendation that you
take advantade of the 30 day free trial period.
(a) Indvidual licenses:
An INDIVIDUAL license for the ScientificAuthor product
authorizes the individual to use the scientific editor.
This product is authorized for use by ONLY ONE individual. The
authorized user may elect to install the software on more than
one computer at a time, but it is to be used only by the
authorized user, and the software may be used only on one
computer at a time. Regardless of who purchases the software,
only one person is authorized to use the software.

(b) Site licenses: A SITE LICENSE for the
ScientificAuthor software product authorizes employees at only
one site in a company or organization to use the software. A
site is defined as a distinct mailing address. The
software may be installed on any computer located at the site and access may be
granted to any and all employees of the company who have offices
and work out of the licensed site.
Use at any site other than the licensed site or use by
individuals not employed by the licensed company or organization
even though they may work at the licensed site is strictly
prohibited. The license is not transferable to any other
company, organization or individual. Copies of the product may
be made and distributed to individuals who have an office and
work out of the licensed site and are employees of the licensed
company or organization Personnel who meet these conditions are
called "authorized users".
Use of the software constitutes acceptance of the license
agreement. Cost is as follows:
